SERDANG, 29 Oct – The Institute of Nanoscience & Nanotechnology (ION2) together with the PUTRA International Centre (i-PUTRA), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), has organised a student mobility program through a webinar titled "How to Write High Impact Research Papers," delivered by Adjunct Professor ION2, Prof. Dr. Chawalit Ngamcharussrivichai from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand.

This seminar, which has been conducted through the Google Meet platform, focuses on quality academic writing techniques, including how to identify relevant research questions, develop an interesting research narrative, and structure a research paper with a logical flow of ideas. Prof. Chawalit also shared a guide to writing a simple abstract as well as strategies for dealing with writing challenges such as language barriers and creativity.

The webinar attracted more than 232 participants from various local and international institutions who were actively involved in the discussion and question-and-answer sessions. According to one of the webinar participants, Dr. Siti Zulaika Razali, the seminar had a great impact on the participants. "Prof. Chawalit's expertise and his presentation provided exceptional value. This knowledge is expected to empower participants to produce high-quality research papers," he said. This webinar is one of the activities designed under the ION2 Postgraduate Committee and conducted by Ts. Dr. Mohd Hafizuddin Ab Ghani as Deputy Chairman.
