SERDANG, January - Dr. Tahta Amrillah, a faculty member from Airlangga University, Indonesia, paid a working visit to ION2 from January 9th to 11th, 2023. During his visit, four mobility students also joined him and carried out their research work at ION2 from January 9th to 20th, 2023.
Among the research works was a toxicity study on samples using brine shrimp and synthesising AgNP from herbs from Indonesia. The samples were characterised using equipment available at ION2, including XRD, UV-Vis, and Nanosizer.
In addition to their research work, the students were taken on a tour of the Faculty of Science, Nuclear Diagnostic Imaging Center, and HPUPM. It is hoped that the presence of Dr. Tahta and the mobility students will further strengthen the research relationship between ION2 and Airlangga University.
