SERDANG, 20 September - The Nanomaterials Processing Technology Laboratory (NPTL) at the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ION2), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), in collaboration with Progene Link Sdn. Bhd., successfully organized an insightful workshop titled "Electrospinning: Theory and Hands-On." Held at the Dewan Seminar and Laboratory of Nanomaterials Processing and Technology, the half-day workshop had a twofold objective: to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of electrospinning theory and hands-on experience, serving as a platform for practical application.

The event commenced with a presentation by Ms. Ang Tse Huey, Product Engineer at Progene Link Sdn. Bhd., who shared insights on "Electrospinning: Basics and Techniques." Following the theory session, the workshop transitioned into practical and demonstration segments, allowing participants to apply their newfound knowledge using the Electrospinning: Basic Series machine.

A diverse group of attendees, consisting of nine participants from both within and outside of UPM, graced the workshop. Additionally, representatives from various industries and NPTL's students were also in attendance. The organizers have high hopes that this workshop will play a pivotal role in disseminating valuable knowledge on electrospinning, particularly in the realm of nanoscience and nanotechnology.

The successful workshop not only deepened participants' understanding of electrospinning but also provided a platform for practical application, fostering a culture of hands-on learning and knowledge sharing within the nanotechnology community.
