KUALA LUMPUR, December 2021 - The Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ION2) Ph.D. graduate, Dr. Nur Alia Sheh Omar and ION2 Ph.D. candidate, Wan Mohd Ebtisyam Mustaqim received the award from the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry-Royal Society of Chemistry (IKM-RSC) for their excellent research achievement.

Dr. Nur Alia, a 2020 graduate, was awarded the “Synthomer Award in Polymer Science 2021” for her excellent Ph.D. thesis. Meanwhile, Wan Mohd was awarded the “Research Prize in Polymer and Materials Science 2021” under the Ph.D. category.

They received cash prizes and certificates presented at the IKM’s Annual Chemistry Night.
