PROF. WENJING HONG Prof. Wenjing Hong has been full a professor in Xiamen University since October 2015. He obtained Ph.D degree (summa cum laude) on 2013 from University of Bern, Switzerland under supervision of Prof. Thomas Wandlowski. His current research is mainly focused on single-molecule electronics, thermoelectrics and relevant instrumental developments. 60+ peer-reviewed papers are published in top journals of chemistry and nanotechnology, including 1 paper on Nat. Mater. (as corresponding author), 1 paper on Chem. ( as corresponding author), 3 papers on Nat. Commun. (as corresponding author), 13 papers on J. Am. Chem. Soc. (5 as corresponding author and 2 as first author), 6 papers on Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (as corresponding author), and 4 invited reviews in Acc. Chem. Res., Chem. Soc. Rev., PCCP, and Topics in Curr. PROF. SHUZI HAYASE Prof. Shuzi Hayase has been a full professor at the Kyutech Institute of Technology, Japan since 2001. He obtained his Ph. D. degree from Osaka University, Japan in 1983 in the field of stereo-selective polymerization. His expertise is in the field of polymers with interesting optical and electrical properties, with focus in developing functional polymers for batteries, fuel cells, and solar cells. His current research is mainly in the field of energy research and includes research in solar cells and semiconducting nanorods. Prof. Hayase has published more than 300+ publications in top journals like J. Am. Chem. Soc., Nature Communications, Nano Energy, Chem. of Materials, and J. of Physical Chem. C. Prof. Hayase has received various awards for his contribution in science including from the Chemical Society of Japan and the Kamura Memorial Award. PROF. S. ABRAHAM JOHN Prof. S. Abraham John is a professor at the Gandhigram Rural Institute in India. He obtained his Ph. D. from the Madurai Kamaraj University, India and Doctor of Engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan. His specialization is in the field of nano related materials including functionalized metal nanoparticles, carbon nanomaterials, graphene, carbon dots, graphene quantum dots, nanocomposites, metal organic frameworks, electrochemical optical sensors, and fuel cell supercapacitors. With more than 150+ journals published in refereed journals including Electrochimica Acta, ACS Sustainable Chem. & Eng., Biosensors and Bioelectronics, J. of Hazardous Materials, and Sustainable Energy & Fuels, Prof. John has accumulated more than 3400+ citations. PROF. HUANG NAY MING Prof. Huang Nay Ming, has been a professor at the Xiamen University Malaysia since 2017. He obtained his Ph. D. from the National University of Malaysia in 2009. His research area is in the materials science field that includes research in graphene, graphene nanocomposites, supercapacitors, batteries, solar cells, photocatalyst, and sensors. Prof. Huang has more than 200+ peer-reviewed publications in top journals like Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews, Electrochimica Acta, Scientific Reports, ACS Applied Energy Materials, Biosensors & Bioelectronics, Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics, and many more. PROF. SANJIB BHAKTA Prof. Sanjib Bhakta teaches at the Birkbeck University of London. He obtained his Ph. D. from the Bose University, India and a D. Phil. from Oxford University, UK in Pharmacology. His research focuses on drug developments related to Tuberculosis, incorporating graphene compounds as part of the drug delivery methods. Prof. Bhakta has published in top journals including Natural Products, Chemotherapy, PLoS One, Biochemistry Journals, Frontiers in Immunology, and Scientific Reports. Prof. Bhakta is also an editor with the Molecular Biology Journal. For his contributions in science, Prof. Bhakta has received many awards including the Sir William Paton Prize. Prof. Bhakta is also a fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy, an elected fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, and an affiliated Fellow of the Center for Infection, Immunity and Disease Mechanism in UK. ASSOC PROF. NG YUN HAU Assoc. Prof. Ng Yun Hau is has been teaching and performing research at the City University of Hong Kong since 2018. He obtained his Ph. D. from the Osaka University, Japan in 2009. Dr. Ng specializes in catalytic reactions including reactions involving graphene and graphene oxide, nanorods, polymers, photoelectrochemistry, and nanotubes. Dr. Ng has published in high impact journals like Chem. Reviews, Chem. Soc. Reviews, Advance Materials, J. of the Am. Chem. Soc., PCCP, J. of Materials Chemistry, Angew. Chem. Int. PROF. DR GYORGY SZEKELY Assistant Professor Dr. Gyorgy Szekely joined the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in 2018. He obtained his Ph. D. from the Technical University of Dortmund, Germany in 2012. His research focuses separation technology materials and engineering. Dr. Szekely has multidisciplinary research background that span the field of supramolecular systems, molecular recognition, molecular imprinting, process development, nanofiltration, and pharmaceutical impurity scavenging. Some of Dr. Szekely publications have been published in the ACS Applied Nano Materials, ACS Catalysis, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Green Chemistry, and ChemSusChem. DR. IDRIS ABU SEMAN Dr. Idris Abu Seman leads the Ganoderma and Diseases Research for the Palm Oil Unit at the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB). Dr. Abu Seman obtained his Ph. D. from the Wye College University in London in 1999. His research focus is on diseases faced by the palm oil plant, a plant of major economic impact for Malaysia. Dr. Abu Seman has won many accolades for his excellence in research including the MTE award, and Best Malaysia Innovative Product at ITEX.
