Putrajaya, 16 December 2025 – The Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ION2), UPM successfully organised the Ignite ION2 2025 Team Building Programme at Glamping @Wetland Putrajaya. The programme, which ran from 8.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m., aimed to strengthen teamwork, enhance internal communication, and foster a strong sense of belonging among ION2 members.

Participation involved staff from across ION2, who were divided into five groups, namely ION2 Gempak, Skuad Nano, Team Ionizer, Geng Elektron and Proton Power. The random grouping encouraged cross-unit interaction while nurturing leadership skills and collaborative spirit in a relaxed and engaging environment.

The programme commenced with registration and breakfast, followed by a briefing session conducted by the facilitators. Participants then took part in a Treasure Hunt activity comprising four challenge stations that required teamwork, creative thinking and effective problem-solving skills. After a lunch break, the programme continued with a Telematch session featuring six interactive and physically engaging games, adding excitement and healthy competition throughout the day.

The highlight of the programme was the prize-giving ceremony, where outstanding teams were recognised, along with a lucky draw session that further enlivened the atmosphere. The event concluded with afternoon refreshments before participants dispersed.

Overall, Ignite ION2 2025 successfully achieved its objectives of strengthening teamwork, enhancing organisational cohesion, and fostering a positive and supportive working environment. Such initiatives are expected to continue in the future to support the sustained excellence and well-being of the ION2 community.
