Serdang 17 August 2023 - The Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ION2) has participated in the Inter-PTJ Jalur Gemilang Flag Waving Competition in conjunction with the Semarak Merdeka 2023 Program, organized by PKKSSAAS. Before the judging day took place, ION2 had worked together to install the Jalur Gemilang around the area in conjunction with the upcoming independence month with the theme "Malaysia Madani: Tekad Perpaduan Penuhi Harapan" as well as responding to the spirit of the 2023 Semarak Merdeka Program, Universiti Putra Malaysia. This program involves all staff and focuses on the activity of installing the Jalur Gemilang flag around the ION2 area.

All staff collaborated in decorating the building environment by installing the Jalur Gemilang according to creativity and followed up with the cleaning of the area as well as the initial preparation for the Independence Corner.

Although it is the first time that ION2 has participated in such a competition, ION2 has successfully proven its ability and determination in working together, uniting, and helping each other in making dreams come true. Congratulations ION2!
