SERDANG, May 2023 - The ION2 HICoE 2023 data review workshop was carried out on 8 and 9 May as an initiative of ION2 to apply for the recognition as Center of Excellence in Higher Education (HICoE) year 2023 starting April 17, 2023. The participants of the workshop consisted of the ION2 Director and all members of the ION2 HICoE working committee.

On the first day of the workshop, a brief presentation was made by Dr. Intan Helina Hasan regarding the latest status of HICoE data collection. The workshop then continued with the review and refinement of the HICoE data. In the afternoon, the workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohd Hamiruce Marhaban to jointly review and give views on HICoE ION2 data that has been collected until then.

The second day of the workshop continued with data refinement while holding discussions between committee members. Before the workshop ended, all members were informed about the important dates of the HICoE application and the data collection implementation strategy before the application was sent to the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) through the UPM Research Management Center (RMC) before 31 May 2023.
