SERDANG, February 26 – The Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ION2) successfully organized a Ramadan spiritual talk (Tazkirah) titled “Gratitude for the Blessings of Ramadan” at the ION2 Seminar Hall today. The program aimed to provide spiritual enrichment for all staff members as they observe the ongoing blessings of the holy month.
The session featured guest speaker YBrs. Dr. Taha Mohd Omar (PU Taha) from the School of Business & Economics, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). During his presentation, he emphasized that the opportunity to perform acts of worship during Ramadan is a profound blessing that demands gratitude, which should be expressed through sincere actions and positive personal transformation.
The core essence of his sharing included:
Consistency in Worship: Stressing the importance of maintaining voluntary prayers and Al-Quran recitation despite the demands of official office duties.
Refinement of Character: Utilizing the "Ramadan school" to improve speech, patience, and excellent work ethics.
Strengthening Ties (Ukhuwah): Fostering closer relationships among colleagues to create a more harmonious and blessed working environment.
The program received an overwhelmingly positive response from ION2 staff. Beyond providing a spiritual motivational boost, the session served as a catalyst for a more productive work spirit even while fasting. It is hoped that the pearls of wisdom shared by PU Taha will leave a lasting impact on the staff, making this year’s Ramadan more meaningful and filled with enduring blessings.
