KUALA LUMPUR, 15 September 2022- The antenna fabrication technology developed by the research officer of the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ION2), Ts. Dr. Intan Helina Hasan was selected to be exhibited by UPM through the Putra Science Park (PSP) at the exhibition in conjunction with the Semarak Patriotik IPT 2022.

Research product by Dr. Intan Helina, which is a flexible antenna fabrication technology, uses organic conductive paste or ink with an additional layer of magnetic material to improve antenna performance.

This program took place at the National Defense University of Malaysia (UPNM), Sungai Besi and was officiated by the Honorable Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato' Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob with the theme of Mahasiswa Patriotik, Keluarga Malaysia.

The program organized by UPNM in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education was also attended by Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad, Minister of Higher Education; Datuk Seri Maximus Ongkili, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Sabah and Sarawak Affairs); Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali, Chief Secretary; General Tan Sri Dato' Sri Affendi Buang RMAF, Commander of the Armed Forces; University Vice-Chancellors, KPT Senior Officers and IPT students.

After the opening ceremony, Datuk Noraini visited the IPT exhibitions at Dataran Warisan UPNM to research products from universities from all over Malaysia including UPM.

ION2 supports this kind of participation to introduce products produced by ION2 researchers. In addition, it also helps increase the visibility of ION2 as a research center in the field of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
