SERDANG, August 2022 – An Entrepreneurial Minded Researcher Program entitled "Commercialisation Strategy for Academia-Industry Cooperation" presented by Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Hafiz Arzmi took place on 29th August 2022. Dr. Mohd Hafiz is a lecturer and researcher from the International Islamic University (UIA) Kuantan, Pahang. This program is physically held in the Seminar Room of the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ION2), UPM. This program was attended by around 30 participants including lecturers, researchers, support staff, and also UPM students.

The commercialisation and entrepreneurial lecture session organized this time aims to share knowledge and also the tips and tricks that can be used by the attendees, especially researchers and students on how to cooperate with the industries. In addition, this program also provided space and potential for research collaboration between ION2, UPM, and researchers from UIA.

The program was led by Associate Professor Dr. Che Azurahanim binti Che Abdullah and also the moderator to the programme opened the mindset of the participants regarding the potential and opportunities that can be highlighted in collaboration with the industries. In addition, Dr. Mohd Hafiz also welcomes the cooperation of ION2 researchers and UPM staff for the synergy cooperation of potential research projects in the near future.

At the end of the program, Dr. Che Azurahanim thanked the speakers and also the participants who attended the program. She also supports the collaboration between UPM and UIA researchers not only in research projects and impactful publications but as well as together producing products that have commercial value for sale.
