PUTRAJAYA, Januari 2022 - A program entitled Workshop on Strengthening Work and Publication was held on 18 January 2022 at the Dorsett Hotel, Putrajaya. This workshop was organized to discuss and analyze the work that has been carried out during the year 2020-2021. In addition, the program also aims to chart the direction of research to a higher level by building a network of cooperation and collaboration between universities and industry.

The workshop attended by 15 participants took place from 9 am to 2 pm and was conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yap Wing Fen, a researcher at the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ION2). Throughout the workshop, participants presented the progress of the work carried out and the plans for the year 2022. These plans include the work in research and targets for journal publication. Participants also received souvenirs at the end of the workshop.

“I would like to congratulate the students for their hard work in their research and successfully publicize their findings in the journals for 2020-2021. Hopefully, we will achieve more outstanding success this year (2022). The workshop will not be successful without the support of ION2, which has helped to implement this program. I hope a similar program can be continued in the future. Under this program, it can indirectly encourage more students to perform better. Furthermore, it can attract potential students to further their studies to a higher level, especially at ION2, UPM. ", said the workshop director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yap Wing Fen, during his closing speech.
