SERDANG - Institute of Advanced Technology (ITMA) is committed to be a center of research excellence and dissemination of knowledge. ITMA is always ready to work with industry and community by conducting collaborative research activities and knowledge transfer programs that can benefit daily life.

In 2017, ITMA has started community network by guiding and giving expert advice to assist MRSM Muar in the 2018 Tunas Saintis Competition. This year again, MRSM Muar wishes to seek advice and expertise from ITMA related to science projects to be contested at the Tunas Saintis 2019 Competition which is expected to be held in March 2019. As a result, MRSM Muar made an initial visit to ITMA on September 14, 2018 to discuss the appropriate project titles for participating in the competition. In this early visit, which was attended by two mentor teachers and eight students, six project titles have been proposed by them to give an early picture to ITMA. These projects which were proposed by MRSM itself are potential projects to enter the competition.

This was followed by a visit of ten (10) students and a mentor teacher on 11-12 October 2018 to improve on their proposed projects. Throughout this activity they were guided by several lecturers and ITMA students as facilitators for project improvement. Muar MRSM will make some more visits to ITMA before the competition.
