Sensor Technology

The sensor technology field of study is designed to focus on the design and development of sensors to meet the need for the growth in products and services that utilise information from different types of sensors. Sensor technology has a very important role as the key technology to support a wide variety of research and industrial applications. It is also a vital element that can be applicable in agriculture, water quality, food security, the environment, and healthcare. The study of sensor technology can include sensor devices, physical sensors, biosensors, and chemical sensors. This program aims to allow students to acquire knowledge of sensor technology covering the design, development, fabrication and performance analysis of the developed sensors.
