iSAMN2024

 The International Symposium on Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology (iSAMN) has been the key conference series of the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ION2) since 2017, dedicated to advancing research in the fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology. This year, ION2 is proud to announce our collaboration with the National Nanotechnology Centre (NNC), an agency under the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation, to co-organize the 8^th International Symposium on Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology (iSAMN2024). The event will be held on October 8–9, 2024, in Bangi Resort Hotel, Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor, Malaysia.

The theme for iSAMN2024 is "Nanotechnology Pathway to Net-Zero Emissions by 2050," aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). iSAMN2024 will serve as a platform for academics, researchers, and industries worldwide to share current research findings in nanoscience, nanotechnology, and advanced materials, contributing to the global effort to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. This theme will also offer opportunities for further exploration in these fields, ensuring a sustainable future.

Additionally, iSAMN2024 will be part of the National Nano Programme (nanoKEB) week, further elevating its significance within Malaysia's national agenda for nanotechnology.

The e-Proceeding of iSAMN is registered with eISSN. Papers presented at iSAMN2024 will also be considered for publication in selected cite-score (Scopus) or impact factor (incites JCR) journals.
